We hope you’re stoked! it is important to follow the instructions provided on this page to ensure proper performance and longevity of your H2GO unit.

Its important to make sure that when using your shower, the can is being vented to allow air to displace the water. there is a vent cap on the top of the shower, or you can open the main fill cap. always make sure one of these are open when using,

Please do not use non-H2GO power cables or plugs, as the ones provided are designed with the proper voltage and current requirements, doing so will void your warranty and could damage the pump

Removing Trapped Air

Upon receiving your shower, filling with clean water, and plugging in the hose and nozzle assembly, it is required to purge the air out of the hose lines, to do this, hold the nozzle open, and while doing so, turn the unit on, it may take a few seconds for the water to fill the lines, once all the air has been pushed out, you’re ready to roll.

From time to time, air may get trapped in the lines, repeat this process to purge the hose and ensure proper flow.

Once you have completed the above steps, and filled the tank with water, plug the unit into your power source, and turn the in-line switch to the ON position. you should hear the pump turn on, the shower is now ready for rinsing duties.

The unit should only be powered on when in use, and it is recommended to not let the pump run dry, without water for extended periods of time

Please only use clean, fresh water when filling the tank, you may use the tank to scavenge water from a river, stream or lake, however it is important to ensure no sand, dirt or debris enters the tank, as this can severely damage the pump

Troubleshooting and Issues

If your pump doesn’t turn on, first ensure that your power supply has sufficient power, if you have narrowed it down to the unit itself, there is a fuse located in the tip of the 12V cigarette plug that may have blown, to remove the fuse, unscrew the metal tip and inspect the fuse, replace as needed, if the problem persists, contact us for a replacement.

Should your unit leak water, or should any of the internal connections come un-done, do not try to fix on your own, contact us for a replacement, we are standing by to help.
